Unfortunately, the service is currently falling a bit. As always, food is very good and varied, especially in these difficult times. However, the take-away concept is not well thought out. Despite ordering at certain times, you currently have to wait a long time. Today we were queued for almost an hour, despite our advance booking. In addition, last week a court paid completely, which can happen, but is not allowed. There were also no disinfection options, which must not happen during this time.

Disastrous planning when you want to get food. We got food here twice and despite pre-ordering with a time, we both had to wait 1 hour (!!!) until we got the food. That can not be true! I am aware that it is a change to only be able to offer food ToGo, but unfortunately they have not learned anything since the last lockdown. All the other restaurants manage to organize it properly. Here, however, this is insufficient. There's not even an excuse! And then the gravy is too salty and the meat is tough. Never again!

Always good. The current situation is not complained about, but rather traded. Specifications are implemented perfectly. The first take-away menu is online. Bring containers for the food for environmental reasons!

Today we picked up our dinner (chop, field and potato salad). The taste was very good, BUT the lamb's lettuce was not washed and full of sand and stones!

Excellent food with a menu of the day. Franconian specialties, nice hospitality and fair prices. Special requests are not a problem. The beer menu could be a bit more local for Franconia, but that is whining at the highest level 🙂 Recommended 👍

Franconian dishes in top quality! On the menu, which changes constantly depending on the availability of fresh regional goods, there is one Franconian highlight next to the other, lined with game dishes from the hunt in the surrounding area and the delicacies of the in-house butcher's shop. Fish dishes are also not neglected, above all naturally baked carp, on request also as pepper carp, whereby the fish naturally comes from one of the renowned farms in the region. The atmosphere in the family business is warm and you feel like a guest, not a customer.

Very good Franconian cuisine, with friendly service!

We had a 💒 wedding reception here today. Personally, I liked the food. Music was played along with it. And there were many presents for the bride and groom.

Have been there for dinner now. Simply delicious. Definitely not instant sauces. We were absolutely thrilled with the breading of the turkey schnitzel. French fries and potatoes perfect. The salad and sauce are also great. The staff was super friendly and accommodating. My oldest daughter celebrated her wedding there. Everything worked out great. Food came for everyone at the same time and everyone liked it. Certainly something can go wrong, but writing bad reviews without giving those affected the chance to fix it is out of place. Keep it up!!!!

Plenty of choice paired with very good food. Had an "Old Franconian Cordon Bleu" - very tasty 👍. What I would like here would be a "tasting plate for 3 people" Here 3 people choose their dishes and everyone gets something from the 3 dishes on their plate. (Sorry, but with the delicious selection you are spoiled for choice🙈) Note: As the inn is well attended, you should reserve a table!

Have been going to the White Cross for years and are always very satisfied. The food is always delicious and freshly prepared. Even with my sensitive stomach, I have no problems. The waitresses are always friendly and brisk. We don't go there on Sunday lunchtime because it's too crowded there. But that's a matter of taste. I can not understand the partly negative reviews. We are also glad that there are still family businesses with Franconian cuisine, there is not a single one in my place of residence. Therefore I wish the Schmidt family and the team all the best.
